Job Description: We are currently seeking Temporary Foreign Workers approved under the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) program to join our team as General Farm Workers at Evergrow Greenhouse.

This position plays a vital role in our greenhouse operations, involving a range of tasks related to crop cultivation, harvest, and maintenance.

Job Details: Employer Name: Evergrow Greenhouse Job Location: Canada Salary: $20.00 -$25.00 hr Job Position: Lmia General farm worker Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, Part-Time, 40-60 hours per week Education: High School or Diploma Degree Experience: 1-2 Basic Requirements Key Responsibilities: Crop Cultivation: Assist with planting, transplanting, and caring for a variety of crops, including tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and herbs.

Monitor plant health and growth, watering, fertilizing, and pruning as needed to ensure optimal crop production.

Harvesting: Participate in the harvest of crops, including picking, sorting, and packing according to quality standards and market specifications.

Work efficiently to meet production targets and maintain product freshness.

Greenhouse Maintenance: Perform general maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, sterilizing, and repairing greenhouse structures and equipment.

Monitor environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, and ventilation, and make adjustments as necessary.

Quality Control: Inspect crops for signs of pests, diseases, or other issues, taking appropriate action to prevent and manage problems.

Follow food safety protocols and hygiene practices to maintain product quality and safety.

Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Follow instructions from supervisors and participate in training programs to promote workplace safety and compliance.

Qualifications: LMIA approval for General Farm Worker position.

Previous experience in agriculture, horticulture, or greenhouse production is an asset but not required.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, performing physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
