Job Description

Malace HR is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to work onsite at an automotive manufacturer in Lansing, MI. The position comes with FULLY PAID HEALTH INSURANCE. Qualified Candidates will possess the below skills/abilities

Responsibilities

Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, maintain or alter electrical services, equipment, and controls using approved and properly sized wire, conduit, raceways, and equipment

Work will be performed both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions

Work with high- and low-voltage systems, to troubleshoot and repair

Maintain work area and equipment in a safe, efficient, and clean operating conditions

Strictly adhere to all safety rules and regulations

Report to supervisor any equipment in need of repair or any unsafe situation or condition

Operate efficiently, all hand/power tools, test instruments and equipment normally used by this trade and maintain/return in good condition

Assist in performing other duties, including work of other trades as required

Qualifications

Requires minimum of State of Michigan or UAW Journeyman's Card

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Journeyman Electrical License

Valid state driver's license in good standing

Superior customer service skills and orientation

Ability to maintain professionalism always and under stressful situations

Ability to multi-task and work without direction supervision

Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints

Strong organizational skills and collaborative style needed

Must be able to perform physical activities such as bending, standing, climbing, or walking

Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in Building Maintenance
