Freedom Mobility Center is a Durable Medical Equipment provider focused on Power Mobility and Complex Rehabilitation with branch locations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, West Virginia, also covering Virginia. Because of continued growth, they are looking for a talented Service and Repair Technician to join their team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Delivers equipment as directed by supervisor

Ability to troubleshoot and determine causes of operating errors and malfunctions of mobility products and related medical equipment

Assemble both standard and customized mobility products per manufacturer's specs

Documents functional checks and repairs of equipment

Instruct end user on proper operation and care of the equipment while addressing any concerns

Complete reports detailing daily service activities

Maintains patient chart documentation in compliance with Medicare guidelines

Participates in traditional and e-learning programs as required by JCAHO

Keep warehouse, van, equipment and service area clean, neat, stocked and organized for the purpose of maintaining a safe and efficient work environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalency certificate

Knowledge of machines, systems and tools including their design, uses, repair and maintenance

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability

Ability to lift 75+ pounds

Valid driver’s license

Previous DME equipment service and repair a plus
