Title: Senior BIM and Digital Design Manager
Location: New York, NY
Office: In office Four Days a week (Remote Fridays and additional optional Remote Days)
Reports To: Principal, Technical Support
Position Overview:
Our New York City office is looking for a Senior BIM and Digital Design Manager to oversee the day-to-day functions of our efficient BIM Team. You will be responsible for setting the direction of the BIM drawing development work to ensure that all aspects are performed with quality and efficiency.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Senior BIM and Digital Design Manager, you will work alongside the Principal of Technical Support to spearhead the development and implementation of our BIM processes. Responsibilities will be but not limited to the following:
Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of our BIM Team
Provide leadership and management of the overall BIM processes within the firm
You will work hand in hand with project engineers in various market sectors including commercial, corporate, financial, education and residential mixed-use, and high-rise
Strategize and manage BIM operations within AMA Group, integrate new technologies and processes to enhance efficiency
Assure the accuracy and completeness of BIM/CAD models consistent with project lifecycles and company standards
Work collaboratively with various teams to ensure seamless coordination and optimized workflows, offer strategic BIM/CAD expertise during project meetings to guide decision-making processes
Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications in BIM-related activities
Drive innovation in digital design practices, implementing new technologies and methodologies
Monitor BIM/CAD system performance, identifying and implementing areas for improvement
Develop and manage BIM documentation, including templates, standards, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), BIM Kick-off meetings, and Checklist QA/QC procedures
Participate in recruitment and hiring processes for the BIM team
Set up MEP Revit models in alignment with AMA BIM standards using AMA’s templatesRequirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC), mechanical engineering, or related fields
Experience:
5 years of experience overseeing a BIM team
7 years of experience using BIM-related software such as Revit and AutoCAD
Advanced proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks)
Demonstrated experience in parametric design and coding skills in Revit Dynamo Script
Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm
Strong understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations, related to BIM
Be able to develop 3-D Revit MEP models for various building types from Architectural Revit models and AutoCAD drawing files
Proficiency in data management and collaboration tools like BIM 360
Knowledge of simulation tools for energy modeling IES VE and ICT network design
Ability to work with multi-discipline project production teams
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills

Salary: $120 – 135k per year (bonus eligible)
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but is not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
