Course Description:Being a lawyer in the 21st century requires much more than possessing some specialized knowledge. It also requires developing a way of being and a way of doing things. Law, Life and Leadership is a course that aims to enable students to develop and deepen their leadership potential. This course will equip students with the knowledge and skills needed for transformative revisioning of the law and of the world. The course utilizes an experiential model of learning, where students will learn by discovery.

Requirements:

The Common Law Section is seeking candidates who are trained to offer ontological leadership training. The successful candidate must have completed an ontological-based leadership course (or equivalent). She or he must also have significant experience of collective reading of educational material on leadership. The candidate must have an advanced command of English both orally and in writing.

The Common Law Section reserves the right to select a candidate who does not fully meet each of these requirements, where the candidate’s selection would be beneficial to the program, the course, the students or for a related reason.

An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
