POSITION TITLE: Operator 1, Machine Retail

REPORTING TO: Supervisor, Production

LOCATION: St. Albans

The Operator 1, Machine position is responsible for preparing and arranging materials and products in bulk and retail form for transfer to warehouse and distribution to customers.

SHIFT HOURS: Sunday - Thursday 11:00pm - 7:30am SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL: $2/hr

Observe all safety, sanitation, GMP and HACCP requirements

Verify quality checks with metal detector, date code verification and case check weight verification

Run equipment; Case Packer, Top Sealer, Palletizer

Clean machines, floors and make sure Machine is organized

Train with Level 2 Operators on Machine set up

About you:

High school diploma or GED

Good communication skills both verbally and written

Math skills

One (1) year manufacturing experience, a plus

Fork Lift and/or Handcart certification, a plus

Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time

Bend, squat, stretch, reach; frequently

Ability to climb stairs, often

Must be able to lift minimum of 50lbs, often

Comfortable working at heights

Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the facility

Noise level can exceed .85 decibels
