The Position

Department and team:

The Chapter SW Engineering R&D Internal Solutions with around 50 employees in Germany, Canada and the US develops custom made applications to support complex regulated processes in R&D, Clinical Operations and Manufacturing at Roche Diagnostics.

In this position you:

Interact and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, which adds an interesting flavor to the role.

Develop innovative concepts and methods to implement user requirements

Write high-quality code and check the quality with unit, integration and acceptance tests

Play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our systems

Continuously improve these based on customer and user feedback in a DevOps and agile mode

Integrated into an interdisciplinary team of product owners, developers and testers, work on the design and further development of the processes

Take ownership for sub-components in terms of finalizing requirements clarification and development

Live the agile values and actively participate in our feedback and error culture and promote the agile mindset within the organization

The following skills are a must for the job:

Experience in full software development lifecycle from requirements engineering and documentation, design, software development and testing

Web Based Development (RESTful WebServices, API Services)

Strong level of OOP programming skills with (C#,Typescript, .Net Framework)

Experience with MS SQL Server or similar ( Entity Framework knowledge is a plus)

Experience in Frontend Development (JavaScript, Angular (preferred), React, Vue)

Knowledge with source code management tools (e.g. Git, Azure DevOps, Gitlab, GitHub)

Analytical, logical problem-resolution skills

Strong collaboration and influencing skills

English language is a must

Nice to have:

Knowledge with Agile software development methodologies (Scrum, SAFE)

Knowledge with Cloud based technologies ( AWS, Azure)

Knowledge with CI/CD Pipelining

Good knowledge of in Copilot

AWS Cloud

Kubernetes

German language is a plus

Education and Experience:

3+ years of relevant work experience with Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent

Working in multinational work environments and /or healthcare industry is a plus
