Responsibilities:
- Set up banquet rooms and tables according to event specifications
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the banquet area before, during, and after events
- Provide excellent guest service, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly
- Collaborate with the catering team to ensure smooth event execution
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area
- Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages as requested
- Assist with bartending duties as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry or banquet service preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy trays or equipment as necessary
