Job Description:
We are currently seeking a competent Procurement Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree or Diploma certification, along with substantial experience in procurement within the fabrication or oil and gas industry.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management, to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and equipment.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms and secure competitive pricing.
Review purchase requisitions and create purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Monitor inventory levels and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of materials and equipment.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers and engineers, to identify procurement needs and support project requirements.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate product offerings and pricing.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including vendor contracts, purchase orders, and supplier performance evaluations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or Diploma certification in a relevant field.
Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the oil, gas, or fabrication industry.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes and procedures, including sourcing, negotiation, and vendor management.
Familiarity with fabrication materials, equipment, and specifications.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and procurement software.
Must be currently available in the UAE and willing to join immediately.
Immediate joining candidates are preferred.
