Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solution Lead to guide the end-to-end design and delivery of our Data Services Platform, a highly integrated customer-facing digital solution to support our growing Enterprise Services business. This role will work closely with the business stakeholders to understand the corporate strategy, business needs, and commercial drivers and ensure technical solutions are appropriate. You will be responsible for defining the solution vision, high-level architecture, and application integration model based on the business strategy and expectations and working closely with cross-functional teams.

It further develops and manages core applications, enabling the smooth operational running of the organization across all functions. We drive and deliver future roadmaps aligned with the overall strategic direction of the business. Group Technology supports services to over 7500 end users across the globe, manages the information security operation, and safeguards all our assets. Our core Group Technology functions include Technical Architecture, Network & Voice, IT Security, Service Delivery, Solutions Delivery and Asset Management. Group Technology has a global presence across all regions, with over 400 staff.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends to guide the end-to-end product platform development.

Coordinate definition and articulation of a holistic solution vision and strategy for the community portal and account (project) management solution by working closely with the business and the cross-functional team.

Manage the high-level product backlog, prioritizing items based on business value and customer needs, in collaboration with individual Product Owners.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical delivery to ensure alignment with the project vision and objectives.

Define and maintain the roadmap and align to the RWS Enterprise Architecture and roadmaps of other RWS commercial and business applications.

Act as a liaison between stakeholders, individual Product Owners, and the Software Development teams, facilitating communication and decision-making.

Leverage customer feedback and analytics data to inform product decisions and enhancements.

Regularly review product performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.

Work closely with Product Owners and Project Managers to deliver complex projects.

Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree or appropriate level of experience (5+ years) in digital solutions delivery.

Proven experience as a Software Product Manager, Product Owner or Solution Architect.

Experience delivering integrated customer facing digital solutions is a significant advantage.

Familiarity with management of web-based products, integrations, and workflow / similar systems.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, using data to support decisions.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.

Strong knowledge of Agile principles and practices.

Experience of working with remote and off-shore teams.

Certification as a Product Owner or related area and degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field would be a great advantage.
