Working as a translator at RWS, you will be responsible for delivering translations of the highest quality on time and within budget.

Job Overview

Working as a translator on behalf of our Slovenian Language team which is based around Ljubljana. You will be responsible for delivering translations of the highest quality on time and within budget. In this key role, you will have the opportunity to act as Lead Translator for one or several accounts and to support the development of your fellow translation colleagues.

Responsibilities:

Translation and review of various texts in fields of IT, life science and automotive with CAT tools (especially SDL Trados Studio)

Post-editing of machine translated texts

Layout check of translated documents

Quality and terminology management

Independent coordination and administration of translation projects

Close cooperation with project managers and freelance translators

Assistance with mentoring our interns or junior translators

Account Management

Requirements:

Bachelor or Master Degree in translation

You are a professional translator from English into Slovenian

You have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience

You are a team player and enjoy working in an international environment

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure.

Good knowledge of translation software such as SDL Trados Studio.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
