Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

Develop high quality solutions in line with our department standards and strategy; contribute to the design

Work alongside the Architect, QA, Product Owner and UX to build and release features

Work with QA to troubleshoot failures in the various test environments

Coach and/or mentor less experienced members of the software development team

Transfer subject-matter expertise to other members of the team where appropriate

Contribute to the adoption of software development best practices

Manage the technical debt backlog for the product

Create new and maintain existing architecture documentation for product or component

Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects

Merge the required changes to all supported versions of the software

Prepare releases, cumulative updates and hotfixes

Tech stack: C#,.NET framework & .NET Core 6.0+, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, AWS EC2/EBS, Redis, SignalR, Azure Pipelines, Graylog, Grafana, Dynatrace, Git, AzureDevOps, Docker

Skills & Experience

3+ years of software development experience in .NET

Good knowledge of software and application design and architecture

Experience working on both cloud (microservices) and on-premises deployed applications

Continuous integration experience

Ability to troubleshoot, communicate and resolve generalized system, data, and/or application issues;

Understanding and use of REST APIs in micro-services architecture, cloud-based platforms and data processing in the cloud;

Exceptional attention to detail

Great verbal communication skills, practical documentation and writing skills

Ability to work in a distributed team and adjust to shifting priorities

Good understanding of agile development practices

Nice to have

Experience with Relational Databases as well as NOSQL databases

Capability to design complex SQL queries. Analyze and troubleshoot SQL statements, code and model database objects; DBA is a plus
