We seek a dynamic Sales Administrative & Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and manage all aspects of the coordination and implementation related to the North America Powertrain Segment. Our business unit has been experiencing record growth over the past few years and we are seeking a strong leader and team building who can grow and develop new tools and processes to support the growth. New customer acquisition is a key pillar to our success and the candidate we are looking for will implement a customer centric approach across their team to ensure customer satisfaction from start of order through engine delivery.

Responsibilities include:

S&OP leader for the region with global matrix responsibilities

Stock management in order to manage company cash flow objectives and protect from plant short-falls.

Local site leader acting as surrogate for regional Brand leader when he/she is traveling.

Manage a team which is responsible for all order Processing: receiving orders, timely placement of orders in the systems, and customer follow-up on product selection, pricing, or payment terms.

Manage a team which is responsible for all order Management activities: Coordinate activities with sales, production plants, and suppliers, facilitate manufacturing lead times and distribution schedules to ensure customer-requested delivery dates are met, and resolve order issues. Validate and process PO invoices in the system.

Responsible for developing dashboards for sales customers to facilitate sales growth through educating the customers on lead-time, mfg issues, available global stock, and shipping or supply chain issues.

Support sales by managing the engine delivery priority and representing the region in the global forum to make sure that NA engines and customers get priority.

Manage a team responsible for Logistics and Warehouse Management – organize inbound and outbound transportation, work with brokers and custom officials, prepare shipping documentation, work with warehouse team on receiving and shipping products to customers, process freight, shipping optimization to support margin growth and custom bills, inventory audits.

Order Delivery: Verify product delivery and invoicing, collect inspection checklist, work on zero-hour quality issues, and coordinate product returns.

Delivery confirmation with constant follow-up to ensure, customer timing is met

Negotiating within the global manufacturing and operations team to gain priority for the orders and delivers under their responsibility.

Developing tools to improve customer interface and customer satisfaction related to the engine ordering and delivery process.

Mapping the current department flow and bottlenecks and working with external and internal people to develop improved processes and systems for the future.

Building a dynamic and skilled team that can support the aggressive growth plan of the business unit.

Procure parts, consumables, miscellaneous supplies, and safety equipment, as needed.

Develop, maintain, and strengthen customer relationships while delivering best in class customer service.

On-board customers and provide training for new partners.

Prepare data needed in sales budgets, sales reports, and market analysis.

Develop and maintain weekly and monthly reports and KPIs.

Partner with the credit team on invoicing discrepancies and credit limits and complete credit/debit requests when required.

Creating and maintaining Sales Department policies, procedures, training manuals, and sales-related resource material.

Other duties as assigned

The qualified candidate will have:

Advanced computer skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel

Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Management Systems or Supply Chain or related field in an Industrial manufacturing environment

Excellent customer focus, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication, follow-up skills, and sense of urgency.

Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, remain calm under pressure, and work well across all levels of the organization.

Great team builder and to develop and manage people.

Ability to build relationships with the global team in a matrix environment.

10 years in Sales Administration or related brand function and or project management-related function

5 years in a role managing people
