This role will be crucial for continuing mining operations and achieving the larger vision of the overall Aluminium Business.

Responsibility

The leader will spearhead the Mines Business for Vedanta Aluminium and will be responsible for leading and developing greenfield and brownfield mining projects. Key responsibilities include operationalizing the coal and bauxite mines with a focus on sustainable mining practices, business process optimization, and internal/external stakeholder management. Additionally, managing business partners and strategizing the conceptual design for 100% captive bauxite and coal supply to refineries and thermal power plants will be essential. Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements to mitigate potential risks will also be vital for this role.High quality, result oriented, and resilient leader, having deep and extensive mining experience (bulk minerals preferred) Hunger to drive transformational change.

Qualification

B.E./ B. Tech/ MBA (preferable)
