We are looking for a Senior Instructional Designer to join our COE- Content Lighthouse team, who’d be able to enhance the learner experience through meticulous and strategic writing and designing. The Senior Instructional Designer will be responsible for ideating, coordinating, and supporting Learning Design activities.

Senior IDs will play a critical role in the end-to-end content creation process. The responsibilities would include working on how-to content for the customers inline with the guidelines specified by the client. We are looking for someone who not only has a flair for learning design and solution but also writing.

Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and implement learning materials and experiences that align with the organization's learning objectives

● Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop appropriate solutions

● Select and use appropriate instructional strategies and technologies to create engaging and effective learning experiences

● Evaluate the effectiveness of learning materials and experiences and make necessary revisions

● Stay up-to-date on the latest learning trends and technologies

● Develop and maintain relationships with external learning providers

● Provide guidance and support to other members of the Learning and Development team

● Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

● Work independently and as part of a team

● Sound knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning principles

● Advanced knowledge of planning and execution, along with a solution-oriented mindset

● Strong written communication skills and working knowledge of editorial requirements, grammar, and instructional design of materials; attention to detail to ensure quality

● Sharp eye for detail

● A strong eye for visual composition

● Act as an SME.

Qualification:

● Graduate in any discipline.

● 5+ years of experience in instructional design or a related field

● Preferred experience with developing learning solutions for a global audience and adjusting materials based on cultural needs, regional constraints, and localization or translation considerations.

● Strong understanding of learning theory, instructional design principles, and adult learning principles

● Excellent communication and collaboration skills

● Strong project management skills

● Proficiency in instructional design software and tools

● Experience with a variety of learning technologies, including e-learning, blended learning, and mobile learning

● Experience with needs assessments, learning evaluation, and continuous improvement processes
