KNOWLEDGE

A solid understanding of the battery cell technology landscape and associated academic research ecosystem within the India market is essential, as is a broad awareness of the key global battery technology trends. Your ability to leverage this knowledge will be instrumental in identifying and nurturing strategic academic partnerships.

EXPERIENCE

Candidates should be educated to PhD level in a relevant field such as Physical Sciences or Engineering. In addition, a project management qualification would be desirable.

success in planning and executing academic research projects with public partners / bodies will be highly valued. An understanding of academic contract negotiation and management would be desirable.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

In this role, you will act as the ‘bridge’ between our scientific teams within our ‘R&D functions, and the commercial teams responsible with scoping, negotiating, executing and managing our key academic collaborations.

Staying abreast of research trends and capabilities within India will be crucial, as you will play a leading role in the identification and recommendation of strategic research projects.

You will be responsible for nurturing relationships with key external partners, engage and collaborate with a range of internal teams and represent Agratas in various external events.

You will support wider development activity across the R&D team in benchmarking and identifying potential collaborators for next generation battery technology partnerships.

You will utilise your experience and people management skills in development the next generation of commercial talent; and the development and delivering of reports to leadership on key commercial activities.

Track record of excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills: ability to influence and build strong, lasting and influential relationships both inside of JLR and outside in the marketplace.
