Service Technician

Reporting to: Service Manager

Salary 60k-80k

The ideal candidate for this position will need to have experience working with plate-rolling machines, angle-rolling machines, and fabrication. This position requires extensive travel, 100-150 days per year. The normal schedule is Mon-Fri 8 am-5 pm but could vary when traveling.

Responsibilities:

-Perform equipment repairs and maintenance

- Provide service onsite

-Test machines before delivery

- Build and assemble equipment according to specifications and guidelines at clients sites

- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals

- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and services performed

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions by email and phone

Skills:

- Strong mechanical knowledge and able to troubleshoot

- Experience in equipment repair, appliance repair, plumbing, or HVAC systems is a plus

- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals

- Proficient in using tools and equipment necessary for repairs

- Forklift certified with experience
