Position Title: HR/Payroll Administrator

How You’ll Make an Impact

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR/Payroll Administrator to join our team. The HR/Payroll Administrator will be responsible for supporting various HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of our HR department. This is a crucial role that requires strong administrative skills, excellent communication, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. This role will report to the Head of People.

Here’s what you’ll do:

Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks

Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality

Process bi-weekly payroll and maintain accurate records of employee attendance and leave and reconcile any variances.

Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and terminations

Prepare monthly benefits invoices for finance (dept coding, variance analysis, etc..)

Maintains vendor contact for payroll and other HR related activities

Coordinate employee training programs and maintain training records

Support employee relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures

Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management for continuous improvement

Here’s what you’ll bring:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

Proven experience as an HR Administrator or similar role

Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices

Proficient in HRIS systems for data entry and reporting

Preferred Skill:

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally

What We Offer:

Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000

Hybrid work schedule for select positions.

Eligible for overtime and premium working holiday pay rate
