ETL Developer - CLEARED

Our client has a direct hire opening for a CLEARED ETL Developer to join their team in Chantilly, VA. In this role, you will contribute to the development of new tools, code, and services for executing data engineering activities.

Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with a TS/SCI with FSP.

Responsibilities

Transfer structured and unstructured data using approved methods.

Perform data ingestion activities to store data locally or at an enterprise level.

View data in its source format.

Develop code to format data for exploration.

Analyze source data formats and collaborate with Data Scientists and partners to determine the formats and transformations that best meet mission objectives.

Develop code and tools for one-time and ongoing data formatting and transformations into enterprise or standalone data models.

Implement existing ETL code and adhere to best practices/standards.

Create an ETL Code Transition Plan.

Produce documentation for each project, including ETL mappings, code usage guides, and instructions for code location and access.

Conduct Code Reviews and offer consulting services to support data transport.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) tools and processes.

1+ years of experience with Python, AWS, SQL, or APIs.

Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, Hadoop/Spark, NiFi, or ELK stack is a huge plus.
