Alloy Technician

Job Description

We are looking for 2nd and 3rd shift Alloy Technicians to join our world class team near Twinsburg, Ohio!

Principal Responsibilities:

Operate, maintain, fill and clean all furnaces and launder systems to ensure timely delivery of clean, in specification metal to the casting machines.

Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Receive instructions and information from supervisor.

Check temperatures and other gauges for proper working order, adjusting as necessary.

Add hot metal, ingot, sows, and scrap to furnaces.

Take alloy gas readings and submit to Quality.

Flux, rake, skim and clean all furnaces and launder systems to remove oxidized aluminum from walls and impurities from the bottom.

Able to operate a forklift to move skimming's and scrap to reverbs or staging area.

Able to operate a forklift and necessary equipment to clean the Reverb Furnaces.
