Payrate Salary $62,400

Job Description:

Responsible for supervising, budget, and operation of the unit, coordinating and administering the functions of food production, food service, purchasing and quality control.

Core Responsibilities:

Assures quality, consistency and proper presentation from all associates in their prospective job responsibilities.

Oversees all Food and Beverage areas and staff to assure productivity, consistency, quality and cleanliness.

With the direction of the F & B Manager develop and implement standards of quality and performance in all phases of the Food Service operation.

With the direction of the F & B Manager plan and direct the food and beverage operations for the facility.

With the direction of the F & B Manager establishes and maintains effective internal controls within the department.

Provide instruction on company policies and procedures and ensure proper follow through. Will be responsible in assisting in the selection, training and management of all associates within the Food Service department.

Assures compliance with all alcohol laws and regulations. Must know local, state and federal regulations for the sale and distribution of alcohol.

Keep informed of new developments in methods and equipment for application to food services operation and plan new food service facilities where authorized.

Maintain control for food production and make suggestions for improved methods.

Maintains knowledge of local competition and general industry trends.

Maintain knowledge of departments’ Union contract.

Develops new concepts that ensure the highest possible quality of food service.

Maximizes sales potential through marketing outlets.

Recommends equipment to be used and is responsible for the proper selection of all food and beverage product.

Understand the goals and vision of the organization.

Maintains a clean department and enforces the State of New York’s health codes.

Must Role Model Company guest service program.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Associate’s degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management preferred.

Must possess 2+ years’ experience in F & B operations, minimum of 1 yr. management experience.

Basic computer skills.

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Lifts up to 20 pounds.

Must be able to stand for periods up to 6-8 hours

Must be able to obtain a New York State Gaming license

Weekends, Holidays and swing shift work may be required.
