Progressive Die Press Operator

Job Description

Rolite Mfg. is a fast growing company located in Lancaster, NY. Due to our continued and deliberate growth we are in need of qualified Press associates in order to sustain our current work load. Responsibilities Include:

Operate various Presses utilizing progressive, transfer, and compound dies in order to form coiled stock into final print shape dependent on customer orders. This is often done in teams monitoring multiple presses that are guarded by a variety of sensors.

Continuously inspect product utilizing a variety or measurement techniques such as calipers, micrometer, depth gauges, go/no-go gauges, height gauges, etc. to ensure quality requirements are met as detailed by written directives and part prints.

Minor maintenance and machine upkeep as needed such as cleaning, monitoring lubrication levels, oiling.

Advanced candidates will have the ability to pull die sets and start new coil strips.

Other production duties as assigned.

Qualifications Include:

Ability to read and write.

Ability to utilize and understand a variety of measurement tools.

Stand for 10+ hours per day.

Lift 35+ pounds.

Prior Press Operation experience preferred but not required.Company Description

Located in Lancaster, NY, outside of the City of Buffalo in Western New York, Rolite has nearly a century of experience in manufacturing high-quality, custom metal parts via stamping, roll forming, brazing, in-line induction welding, as well as a multitude of value add production techniques. We service many industries including; Automotive, Mining, Power Generation, Electrical Building Components, Firearms, Aerospace. Current ownership purchased Rolite in 2007 after 50+ years of combined service to the company with 13 employees. Today we have over 60 employees and have had to expand our building twice. While we continue to grow, ownership is still hands on on a daily basis while fostering a culture emblematic of employee first.

We currently have openings in Maintenance, Tool and Die, Press Set-up, Progressive Die Operation, as well as many entry level production positions aimed at training individuals to grow into more complex positions within the company. We also have openings in two NYS Apprenticeship Programs (Tool & Die and Millwright) while a third will be planned for September 2024 (Electro-Mechanical Technician) that are open for all employees to apply to.
