CNC PROGRAMMER

Currently seeking a CNC Programmer for a full-time temporary to permanent position in East Providence, RI

Responsibilities of CNC Programmer:

-Read interpret and design CNC programs utilizing MasterCAM

-Create 3D models & 2D engineering drawings with SolidWorks

-Eliminate malfunctions and obtain specified functional and operational performance by troubleshooting and designing injection molds

-Follow mechanical mold design principles to evaluate confirm plastic molding and metal tooling

-Upload CNC programs into CNC machine Center

-Set and adjust peeds and feeds and modify programs and CAD files as needed

-Fabricate holding fixtures

-Provide additional support to tool room staff and machines operators

Requirements of CNC Programmer:

-Must be proficient using Master CAM and Solidworks

-Minimum 4 years exp as CNC programmer/ operator on Multi-axis machines

-Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS office products

-Ability to read analyze interpret technical data

-Good time management skills with ability to meet deadlines

-Strong communication skills

-Able to work independently or in team setting

-Great attention to detail

-Able to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment

-Excellent problem-solving skills

Pay Rate: $50, 000-$70, 000/year

Hours: 8:00am-5:30pm Monday-Friday
