Plant Controller - CPA

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Controller to join their team. The Plant Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the plant operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition

Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements

Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting

Research technical accounting issues for compliance

Support month-end and year-end close process

Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required

Minimum 7 years of experience as a Plant Controller or in a similar role

Experience in manufacturing or related industry preferred

Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong organizational and time-management
