CNC Machinist

Pay Rate: $26-30 hourly compensation based on experience and qualifications.

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Hours: 2nd shift, Monday â Friday, 3 pm to 1:30 am

As a CNC Machinist, you will set up and operate a variety of machine shop equipment, including CNC turning machines, CNC milling machines, drill presses, etc. Perform program loading, set up and operation of CNC equipment. Includes editing and proving out of CNC Programs as needed.

Responsibilities:

Setting up and operating CNC turning machines, and CNC milling machines.

Perform program loading, set-up, and operation of CNC equipment.

The ability to prove out programs.

Responsible for complete and accurate recording of new or modified CNC Programs on standard process sheets, magnetic media, punch tapes, etc.

Responsible for first-piece inspection and follow-up in-process inspection.

Requirements:

3-5 years of experience setting up and operating CNC machines.

Ability to read and understand blueprints.

Ability to perform simple math and use basic hand-measuring tools including precision gages.

Physical ability to do work requiring frequent standing, bending, twisting, turning, and lifting to 50 lbs.
