Position Summary:

Discover and pursue new sales opportunities. Manage customer relationships and deliver forecasted sales within identified key accounts on a global basis. Builds a strong and sustainable sales strategy for assigned accounts to drive business success.

Essential Duties:

Conduct market research to identify customers in existing and new markets; map the organization to identify structure, nature of business and how ADT and serve their needs.

Converts customer knowledge into opportunities by following up on leads

Actively seek out new opportunities through cold calling, networking, and using social media.

Builds rapport with assigned accounts and maintains continuous communication.

Keeps up to date on administrative responsibilities, specifically, maintaining accurate information in CRM tool.

Follow company processes including PERT, proposal process and accurate sales forecasting.

Achieve sales goal per commission agreement.

Learns about ADT products and services and keeps up to date on any enhancements.

Represents the company to the customer in a professional manner and assumes accountability for customer satisfaction.

Actively drive departmental continuous improvement activities; always seek room for improvement and either act or discuss with Manager.

Demonstrates ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values.

Prioritizes personal growth and development by attending company provided trainings and seminars.

Exhibits the honmono spirit daily and in all interactions with customers and peers.

Demonstrate excellent judgment in customer relations and in managing company resources.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Requires a bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred) and at least 10 years of related technical and/or marketing/sales experience. Must have broad understanding of standard hi-tech/capital equipment sales methods and practices, particularly competitive selling techniques. Knowledge of engine or battery test industry preferred. Knowledge of HIL (Hardware in the Loop) preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills essential.
