Composite Technician

Saxon Aerospace is currently hiring Composite Technicians for a 6+ month project in Tacoma, WA.

Pay: $45/hr ST; $67.50/hr OT

In addition to hourly pay, qualified out-of-area contractors will receive $176 daily allowance for lodging, $1,232 max allowance per week.

Composite Technician Duties and Responsibilities may include:

Composite Lay-Up, Lamination: wrap and form composite materials to molds

Trim: trimming parts, deburr

Final Assembly: install brackets, assemble parts, rivet

Required Skills and Experience:

5+ years’ composite experience

5+ years’ aerospace manufacturing experience

Working conditions:

Standing, pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting

Lifting and handling objects up to 40 pounds

Estimated duration is 6+ months (possibility of extension).
