Overview

The Senior Landscape Designer is an experienced, non-licensed landscape designer that assists project leadership in all aspects of project design, development, and documentation activities through all phases of a project.

Responsibilities

Attends office staff meetings and project scheduling meetings

Prepares project research and participates in concept development

Prepares project correspondence, documentation, and presentation materials

Leads project meetings and client presentations

Prepares project documents that meet design, schedule, and budget expectations

Prepares project takeoffs and cost estimates

Prepares project specifications

Assists with Construction Administration activities and makes site visits

Manages digital project files

Reports project progress to Project Manager

Actively participates in marketing and develops client and consultant relationships

Delegates to and serves as a mentor to Landscape Designers and Interns

Qualifications

Landscape Architecture degree from accredited BLA or MLA university program

Minimum of 4 years of professional design experience in private practice design or planning firm;

Well-developed landscape design skills and AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, and Microsoft Office software skills;

Well-developed contract document layout and production knowledge
