Position Title- AV Technician
Location- Seattle, WA 98104
Duration- 6+ month contract
Pay ;- $35/hr
Requirement:
• Install, configure, and maintain AV equipment including projectors, microphones, video cameras, sound
speakers, and video conferencing systems.
• Troubleshoot AV issues promptly to minimize downtime during events and meetings.
• Conduct regular system tests and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with IT and facilities teams to improve AV infrastructure and capabilities.
• Provide training and support to staff on using AV technology effectively.
• Manage inventory of AV equipment and supplies, including procurement and vendor relations.
• Stay current with the latest AV technologies and best practices.
• Knowledge of Mac devices a plus.
Special / Additional Qualifications (Over Role/ Category Level)
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Audiovisual Communications, or
related field.
• 2+ years of experience in AV technology or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of AV systems, networking, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with team members
and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with video conferencing platforms and collaboration tools.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends for
events.
Specific Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
• Experience with digital signage and integrated AV control systems.
• Certifications in AV technology (e.g., CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I) or related IT fields.
