Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

Position:

Strong background in Manufacturing systems, process optimization, Quality Control, and production planning and manufacturing work instructions.

Requirements:

BS Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field

5-10 Years proven experience in manufacturing principles and improvement methods

Understanding of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies

Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, AS9100, and quality standards

Experience working with DOD/Government

Preferred Skills:

Proficiency in relevant software and tools: Jira, fishbowl 9 or other ERP/MRP systems

Experience with CAD/CAM, Visio, and other aid creation tools

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement production traveler steps in accordance with AS9100

Work closely with the Design Engineers

Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout

Develop Manufacturing processes, understanding product requirements, testing methods, and working with equipment vendors

Coordinate with Quality manager to maintain rigorous quality control standards to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations

Understanding, implementing, and monitoring SPC processes

Experience with AS9100 Quality System Adherence

Experience with creating Gantt Charts

Pay: 36-48

Pay Details: $36.00 to $48.00 per hour
