Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all aspects of civil litigation and trial work, including preparing pleadings, conducting depositions, and representing the company in court.

2. Handle a wide variety of general liability cases, including personal injury, property damage, and professional liability.

3. Provide legal representation for the company in insurance defense matters, including analyzing claims, advising on coverage issues, and defending the company in litigation.

4. Develop and implement legal strategies and solutions to achieve favorable outcomes for the company.

5. Conduct legal research and analysis to keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company.

6. Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.

7. Provide legal advice and guidance to senior management and other stakeholders on a variety of legal issues.

8. Participate in professional development activities to maintain current knowledge of legal trends and developments.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.

3. A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in civil litigation.

4. Proven experience as a general liability attorney.

5. At least 3 years of experience as a litigation attorney.

6. Experience as an Insurance Defense Attorney is required.

7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

9. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

10. High level of professional ethics and integrity.

11. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve complex legal issues.

12. Proficiency in legal research and the use of legal databases.
