Shift and Compensation

Monday-Friday 8-4 PM

Salary is $19 / hour

Job Duties

Cook lab samples that are representative of production processes based on plant location. This includes setting up samples in yogurt or other finished products for evaluation of texture, viscosity, color, and flavor. Documents all analysis and notes as it pertains to lab work using QFX, DMS, or equivalent systems.

Follow production trials and first launch orders. This includes reviewing documentation and expectations with the developer and any relevant workflow to ensure the trials are properly run. Document all analysis and notes as it pertains to the production run using QFX, DMS, or equivalent systems.

Communicates with team members on daily project work. Responsible for ordering all necessary ingredients. Capable of making minor adjustments to the formula based on project expectation. Independently uses internal systems as well as logistics programs to create labels and packing slips for project shipments.

Maintains a clean, professional laboratory, office, along with all relevant product development workspaces. Calibrates and maintains analytical equipment daily.

Collaborates with all workflows such as PE, CE, etc., to ensure the success of project work.

Background Profile

Minimum requirement is a high school diploma or GED.

Associate degree in Culinary or Science is a plus.

A 4-year science degree has potential for promotion to Food Technologist.

Must have basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office365 applications such as Teams, Word and Excel.
