Stenn are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. Could this be you?

You probably want to know what’s involved?

As a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer, you will be at the heart of our engineering process, ensuring our services are scalable, reliable, and sustainable. You will work closely with both software engineers and system operators to design, build, and maintain large-scale, highly available, and resilient systems. Your role will be pivotal in automating operations, troubleshooting and resolving issues in our dev, test, and production environments, and enhancing system performance and reliability.

What will you be responsible for in this role?

Develop, scale, and automate our cloud infrastructure using a code-first approach to enable seamless scaling and management of services.

Work collaboratively with software engineering teams to enhance the reliability and performance of our platforms and services through automation and software solutions.

Design and implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to detect and mitigate issues before they impact users.

Participate in the incident management process, including on-call rotations, incident response, post-mortem analysis, and implementing preventive measures.

Drive capacity planning, performance analysis, instrumentation, and other non-functional systems requirements.

Continuously improve system reliability and efficiency through the use of automation and adopting cutting-edge technologies.

Foster a culture of reliability and operational excellence through best practices and knowledge sharing within the organization.

How do you know if you are the right candidate?

Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., C#, Python).

Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).

Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols, and Unix/Linux systems.

Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform).

Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and automation tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset to prevent problems before they occur.
