Data Engineers wanted to join our Cloud Engineering team.

We are offering fully remote contracts within the EU and Brazil

The opportunity:

We are looking for Data Engineers with extensive Power who are passionate about cloud-based solutions and big data technologies to join our experienced cross-disciplinary department. (We’re also Infrastructure Engineers and Backend Developers).

The successful candidates will be involved in launching a new Data architecture for one of our retail clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with PowerBI Data Modelling

The Cloud is evolving quickly, and we keep our knowledge fresh by continually looking for fresh technologies and sharing what we’ve learned. You actively enjoy learning new technologies and developing your skills and will be expected to contribute to this process.

What we want from you:

Developing data platforms, with experience within complex enterprises

Extensive experience with PowerBI modelling

Cloud data warehouse Ideally Snowflake (Azure Data Warehouse, Synapse)

Advanced SQL skills

Azure and its various services

Supporting a BI Development team in maintaining data warehouse and pipeline development best practices

Transformations using DBT

Azure Data Factory and Logic Apps development and orchestration

Developing Spark/Databricks pipelines using Python

Event-driven architecture and data streaming

Implementing data lake standards and best practice

Data warehouse design and modelling skills such as dimensional or Data Vault 2.0.

Agile delivery methodologies, Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience use Jira and Confluence

Knowledge of Terraform
