You’d like to do this:

BlueHalo is seeking a highly skilled, experienced finance executive to join our growing organization. This position is responsible for leading the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, pricing, and program control functions within the organization. This role involves providing strategic insights, financial guidance, and support to senior management to drive business growth, profitability, and operational efficiency. The SVP Finance oversees the development of financial models, analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs), and evaluation of investment opportunities to inform decision-making and drive performance improvement initiatives. This position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Develop and implement financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support the organization's strategic objectives.

Lead the preparation of annual operating budgets, long-range financial plans, and periodic forecasts in collaboration with business units and functional leaders.

Lead FP&A team to provide insightful analysis of financial results, variances, and trends to senior management, highlighting key business drivers and areas for improvement.

Develop and maintain robust financial models to support scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and strategic decision-making.

Partner with business leaders to evaluate new initiatives, capital investments, and strategic projects, assessing their financial feasibility and potential impact on the organization.

Drive continuous improvement in financial planning and analysis processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.

Lead the Pricing team and maintenance of a compliant Estimating System to support competitive and compliant pricing to customers.

Lead the Program Control organization to support Program Execution with detailed project spend plans, EACs, and support EVMS compliance when required.

Prepare presentations and reports for executive leadership, board of directors, and external stakeholders, communicating financial performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives effectively.

You’re required to have this:

10+ years of experience in professional finance roles

Leadership experience in corporate reporting, analysis, and planning processes

Organized, detail-oriented, and analytical. Ideal candidates will have a positive personality and the able to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Self-starter who takes initiative and works well with others and independently

Customer-centric mindset, ability to translate customer issues/needs into business solutions while working collaboratively and cross-functionally within the organization

Preferred Education and Experience:

MBA, CFA, or similar advanced degree/certification in business or finance

Leadership experience supporting financial forecasting in a publicly traded environment

Experience working with Private Equity investors

Experience with Unanet or Deltek ERP environments

Exposure to Government Contracting compliance

Exposure to Power BI or similar Business Intelligence tools
