Advertised Compensation $90,000 - $100,000 Per Year + PAID RELOCATION

The Product Engineer serves as the technical manager for their respective product lines. This position is the primary sponsor for product lifecycle management efforts and will work with the Design Engineers to ensure these efforts are successful. The selected individual will support engineering initiatives for product lines to meet the financial, quality, training and sales goals set by the Product Manager. The Product Engineer serves as the technical point of contact for customers as well as the sales, engineering, marketing, and commercial teams.

Responsibilities:

Support sales and marketing efforts as an engineering resource to maximize sales/market share of products

Define Customer and Tech Service training requirements

Problem solving and support with hydrogen transport product line

Lead value engineering efforts through design engineering and CI teams

Aid in customer training

Support NPD efforts with engineering team

Manage warranty claims by providing engineering guidance

Lead product related CAPA efforts as appropriate

Assist Product Manager with RFQ’s and new sales by providing technical assistance

Component and part selection and validation

Development and execution of test plans

Research and investigation of code requirements

Qualifications:

BS Mechanical Engineering Degree or other engineering degree

Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in hydrogen applications

Preferred: 3-5 years of experience with cryogenic applications

3 years experience in design engineering

P&ID development

Development of equipment to engineering code standards

Proven ability to engage with customers in a professional and trustworthy manner

Proven ability to educate and explain product functionality, both the "how" and the "why"

Experience working in a self-directed role and comfortable making decisions independently

Working Conditions

Office environment

Manufacturing environment including outdoor testing

Work related travel may be required (approx. 10% maximum)

Physical Requirements

Frequent standing, sitting, walking

Frequent computer work

Note:

Production floor environment will involve possible exposure to materials with rough edges, temperature extremes, moving mechanical parts, occasional flying debris, chemical cleaning solvents and their odors.
