Location: Bow Island, Alberta Are you a skilled Journeyman Electrician seeking an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise?

Unity Electric Inc., a reputable medium-sized electrical contracting company based in Bow Island, Alberta, is currently seeking a dedicated professional to join our team.

Position: Journeyman Electrician or well-qualified 4th Year Electrical Apprentice Responsibilities: Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential, commercial, agricultural, or institutional settings.

Work with customers to clarify their requests and communicate as projects progress.

Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

Ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant electrical codes and safety standards.

Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions.

Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet project deadlines and goals.

Supervise/mentor less experienced employees.

Requirements: Valid Journeyman Electrician certification or completion of 3rd year apprenticeship training.

Proven experience in residential, commercial, agricultural, or institutional electrical projects.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

First Aid, Whimis, Fall Protection, Aerial Lift Platform safety training.

Must be willing to take on very occasional out-of-town work where accommodations and LOA are provided.

Our crew works long hours to meet the demands of our customers.

Occasional weekend workdays or shiftwork may be required to accommodate clients’ schedules.
