Facilitate planning and continuous improvement agenda for a $35bn Global Investment Management function. Work alongside the Chief Investment officer and executive leadership team to identify, drive and enhance investment performance. Reporting directly to the ACGL Chief Transformation Officer and indirectly reporting to the Chief Investment Officer.

Job Responsibilities

Support Chief Investment Officer to architect strategic areas of focus through effective annual business planning.

Support Chief Investment Officer develop communication materials pertaining to the Transformation agenda for key stakeholders including ACGL Board and Executive management.

Support AIM executive team to identify, evaluate and prioritize strategic opportunities; including Business, Digital, Data IT, People and Process initiatives.

Establish performance management framework to set and track delivery against measurable outcomes.

Establish and facilitate appropriate Governance to support identified transformation agenda.

Drive accountability through establishing transparent and timely performance review and measurement.

Support local executive(s) in the delivery of complex initiatives.

Introduce frameworks to support executives’ scope, plan and execute critical initiatives.

Personally lead key initiatives including scoping, planning, communicating, and executing complex programs of work and influencing key cross-functional stakeholders

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years’ experience with a proven track record in the Investment Management industry with 5 years of relevant experience in the Investment Management industry executing project and program delivery.

Ability to communicate effectively and engage at all levels within an organization.

Facilitate, influence and drive strategic outcomes without direct accountability and or control.

Excellent communication skills breaking down complex issues into clearly defined problem / opportunity statements and outlining a pragmatic course of action.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, business judgement and stakeholder management skills

Strong team player with a customer-oriented attitude, willing to proactively drive solutions within highly motivated and diverse teams across functions and geographies

Project management experience, including the ability to recognize and track dependencies among projects and/or streams

Experience in TOM (target operating model) design and process improvements within different functions of the Financial Services industry

Experience in working with Lean, Agile and Design Thinking methodologies

Results Oriented: A keen ability to execute and deliver results. Approach tasks proactively and anticipate needs. Think quickly and have the flexibility to (re-)prioritize multiple work streams/ projects/ tasks without sacrificing quality. Act with a sense of urgency. Understands and has experience in project management.

Experience in understanding business requirements with the ability to convert them into solution designs

Experience in establishing enduring performance management and measurement capabilities.
