Quantity Surveyor

Job title: Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £70,000 per annum

Location: Portadown, Northern Ireland

Experience: 5 to 7 years experience in Quantity Surveying required!

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a passion for the Fit Out industry? Our client's established Fit Out company based in Portadown is seeking a talented individual to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret contracts, identifying key terms and conditions.

Negotiate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve favourable terms and pricing.

Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for fit out projects.

Monitor project costs and expenditures, identifying potential cost savings or overruns.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Prepare and submit payment applications and valuations in accordance with contract terms.

Manage subcontractor agreements and resolve any contractual disputes that may arise.

Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and quality standards.

Requirements:

5-7 years+ experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the Fit Out industry.

Strong understanding of contract reading and negotiation.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.

Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying or construction management are advantageous.
