JOB SUMMARY:

As an Identity Engineer (SSO / LDAP) at Honeywell, this is your opportunity to join our Cybersecurity team and provide valuable, secure user experiences for Honeywell employees, partners, and customers.

You will work with the LDAP directory (preferable Radiant FID), latest Single Sign-On technologies that perform multi-factor authentication, federation, and profile management. You will provide world class engineering solutions ensuring that they align with direction set by best practices and defined standards within Honeywell. Your job responsibilities will include the following:

.Serve as a subject matter expert for LDAP & SSO services under the IAM services portfolio

oUnderstand how the service works from a business/end-user/technical perspective

oHave command of the service including its capabilities and proper use

oExecute proof-of-concepts guided by Sr. Identity Architect and Service Manager

oComplete assigned project/tasks in a timely manner

oInteract with key stakeholders and project/program teams to understand their requirements and engineer solutions based on best practices

oEnsure proper oversight for quality assurance of IAM artifacts

oEnforce adherence to architectural standards/principles

oProactively provide feedback regarding infrastructure IAM engineering methodologies, standards, and leading projects

oMinimize technical exposure and risk on projects

oDelivers and manages a highly available, stable, and secure Directory Services environment

oParticipates in the testing (e.g. planning and execution) related to performance, disaster recovery, and business continuity

.Deliver solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements

oContribute to and execute tasks within the service backlog

oContribute on product patches or version upgrades.

oCreate design packages

oDevelop, test, and deploy code packages

oMaintain accurate and timely tracking of activities

.Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities

oUnderstands the art of the possible, compares various architectural options based on feasibility/impact and proposes actionable plans

oDemonstrated strong analytical skills and technical problem-solving skills

oAnalyzes and resolves complex issues (e.g. performance problems and outages) to the Directory Services environments, escalating to and working with vendors and clients as required

oAbility to analyze and operate at different levels of abstraction

oAbility to balance what is strategically right with what is practically realistic

oEvangelize optimal options based on documented best practices and standards

oMaintain accurate and timely tracking of activities

.Incident/Problem management

oManage incident/problem lifecycle including ticketing and stakeholder interaction

oPerforms proactive problem management to identify and resolve potential issues related to the Directory environments

oFollow documented troubleshooting procedures for standard support situations

oEscalate to and collaborate with tier 3 support (i.e., Sr. Identity Architect), when necessary

.Run book activities

oMonitor the service from both a functional and infrastructure perspective

oExecute service reports and gather/report metrics

oAddress service problems

oDocument changes and/or new activities

.Works under supervision of the Sr. Cyber Security Manager, and interacts with Senior/Portfolio Architect

YOU MUST HAVE:

.Bachelor's or graduate degree in a computer-related field such as Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent.

.3+ years of experience in developing web applications.

.2+ years of experience with Identity and Access Management

WE VALUE:

.Experience with LDAP directory, preferably Radiant FID

.Experience with identity provider technologies such as Ping Federate, Okta, etc.

.Experience with SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect

.Understanding of encryption, certificates, and digital signatures

.Java development including frameworks such as Struts

.Web development with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery, Bootstrap, etc.

.SQL database design and optimization (including query)

.Technical design and development skills

oStrong analytical and technical problem-solving skills

oFamiliarity with various requirements gathering techniques.

oKnowledge and experience in IT/development methodologies and life cycles

oExperience building/supporting solutions for mission-critical, distributed applications.

oExperience with multi-tier system development for large enterprises

oExposure to infrastructure and application security technologies and approaches

.Experience with directories such as LDAP and Active Directory

.Knowledge of cloud concepts and design

.Experience with service-oriented design

.Unix/Linux knowledge

.Mobile development experience - both native and responsive web design

.Interpersonal communication and organizational skills
