The NS Foundation, dedicated to improving women's health through research, education, and advocacy, seeks a passionate and creative Video Editor to join our team.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Video Editor at NS Foundation located in Chennai, Mangady. The Video Editor will be responsible for day-to-day video editing tasks, including video production, video color grading, motion graphics, and graphics creation.

About You:

You are a skilled video editor with a minimum of 1 year of experience crafting compelling and informative video content.

You are proficient in industry-standard editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.

You possess a strong understanding of storytelling principles and can translate complex topics into engaging visuals.

You have excellent communication skills and can collaborate effectively with internal teams to develop video concepts and messaging.

You are detail-oriented and can meet deadlines efficiently.

A passion for women's health and a desire to contribute to a meaningful cause is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Edit and refine video footage from various sources (interviews, B-roll, etc.) into cohesive and impactful videos

Collaborate with program staff, videographers, and communications team members to develop video concepts and timelines

Create motion graphics, animations, and lower thirds as needed

Ensure all videos meet NS Foundation's branding and style guidelines

Manage and maintain video assets

Stay up-to-date on the latest video editing trends and techniques

Qualifications

Video Production and Video Editing skills

Video Color Grading and Motion Graphics skills

Graphics creation skills

Proficiency in video editing software

Strong attention to detail and creative mindset

Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Experience in the field of video editing is preferred

Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, or a related field is a plus

Salary: 15,000 - 25,000 (Based on Experience)
