Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a strategy for quality coordination and testing as well as suggesting solutions to identified quality problems. You'll be essential to the quality and drive full automation of testing and quality. You'll work with Agile Engineering teams on new and exciting cloud solutions

Responsibilities:

Develop scripts to automate transformation logic validation and data comparison between On-Prem vs Cloud DBs.

Perform requirements and user story analysis to create detailed test designs and conditions

Assist with setup and maintenance of test environments.

Develop configurable, maintainable, reusable, and dependable test automation framework using automation tools.

Prepare for and take part in testing activities for production deployments and remediation.

Provide traceability from business requirements and technical specifications to test conditions and problem reports.

Participate in detailed review walkthrough sessions.

Willing and able to knowledge transfer/mentor peers on test automation best practices where appropriate.

Track issues to a successful resolution.

Collect metrics to measure test progress and quality outcomes.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent professional experience.

Typically requires 7+ Years of professional experience in automation coding and software testing.

Experience with testing Message Queues.

Experience with API testing.

AWS Cloud and Lambda.

Advanced SQL, Shell, and Python scripting skills.

Experience with Agile methodology is required.

Experience with GitLab.

Experience using HP ALM/Quality Center.
