Electrical Engineer

TITLE: Electrical Engineer/ Senior Electrical Engineer

SALARY: $90,000 - $120,000

Location: Midtown Manhattan/ Cohoes, NY (Occasional Travel Required)

Top 30-Year-Old engineering firm with over 5,000 successful projects across various markets, such as labs aviation, commercial, higher education, hospitals, K-12, laboratories, residential and street lighting.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop and test electrical products and systems for various applications, such as power generation, transmission, distribution, lighting, control, communication and automation

Use design software, such as AutoCAD create schematics, layouts, diagrams and documentation

Conduct research, analysis and troubleshooting to solve electrical problems and improve existing products and processes

Prepare cost estimates, budgets and schedules for electrical projects and proposals

Comply with the relevant engineering codes, standards and regulations, such as UL, FCC, FDA, etc.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field

Proven experience as an electrical engineer in a similar industry or environment

Proficient in using electrical design software and tools like AutoCAD or REVIT

Willing to Occasionally travel to Cohoes/Troy

PE or EIT a Plus
