Job Description:

As the SAP FICO Lead, you'll be instrumental in driving the design, configuration, implementation, and upkeep of the SAP FICO module within the SAP S4 HANA platform. Your role is pivotal, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while serving as the go-to expert in SAP FICO. You'll oversee the validation of business requirements across finance and controlling functions, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of SAP FICO solutions, adhering to industry best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs and translate them into effective SAP finance solutions.

Customize SAP S/4HANA FICO modules to meet specific business requirements while maintaining system integrity.

Document business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs, and develop comprehensive test cases for process validation.

Provide functional support for SAP Finance and Controlling modules, addressing production issues and ensuring smooth operations.

Support period-end and year-end activities, including reconciliation and foreign currency valuation processes.

Conduct testing to ensure system setup meets expectations with zero errors.

Provide end-to-end support for SAP S/4HANA FICO applications, including troubleshooting and regular maintenance.

Performance Expectations:

Ensure alignment with the SAP S/4 HANA template and foster effective communication with finance stakeholders.

Work closely with finance stakeholders to deliver SAP FI-CO solutions across project phases.

Configure SAP GL, AP, AR, FA, and COPA functionalities to meet business needs.

Cultivate strong relationships with finance stakeholders to ensure alignment and adoption of SAP solutions.

Translate finance requirements into functional specifications, considering cross-functional impacts and audit guidelines.

Communicate SAP finance solutions effectively, catering to business stakeholders and understanding financial terminology.

Enhance and support product costing, financial reporting, and consolidation processes.

Skills and Experience:

10+ years of SAP FICO experience in accounting, finance, and controlling within the manufacturing industry.

Hands-on experience with full life cycle implementation in S/4 HANA 1909 and previous SAP ECC projects.

Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA Finance and Managerial Controlling modules.

Strong understanding of SAP Product Costing and IFRS Accounting Principles.

Experience with FI/CO integration and data conversion from legacy systems to SAP.

Knowledge of FI and CO organizational structure and master data.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
