Pay: 70K-85K, depending on experience

Schedule: M-TH 6AM- 4:30PM + OVT (FLEXIBLE FRI + SAT DURING PEAK)

Location: Mesquite, TX

Position Scope:

The Production Manager is responsible for managing and directing the production process and coordinates all activities on the production floor. The Production Manager coordinates the production of goods, ensures machines are repaired and running smoothly, and manages staff on production lines, fabrications, and shipping and receiving. The Production Manager will provide technical and quality support to ensure all manufactured products are built in compliance with required codes, specifications, and most importantly, customer expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Motivate, support, and provide guidance to production staff.

Ensure all safety standards are met to keep the organization accident-free.

Communicate regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production.

Evaluate machine resources or ensure continued production and minimal downtime.

Establish a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations.

Set productivity goals for each manufacturing team.

Develop workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.

Ensure adequate scheduling of staff.

Background Experience:

5+ years of experience in production control or other related fields within a manufacturing environment, including supervisory experience.

Strong project management skills.

Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.

Ability to effectively communicate, coach, and motivate employees.

Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Must be adept at handling pressure in various customer situations and working well under deadlines.
