We are seeking a product manager to take Sophia to the next level through data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate is an analytical problem solver, communicates effectively, has a "get things done" mentality, and is collaborative yet autonomous. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Build analyses to assess product-feature impact, measure business performance, and guide product decisions.

Dive into user data to identify and distill user problems into product requirements.

Support product vision, roadmap, and prioritization; drive sprint planning.

Create user stories and product requirement documents (PRDs) to ensure alignment with product vision and roadmap.

Ideate new products and/or features, prioritizing needs based on company objectives and analytics.

Lead key projects from idea through execution in partnership with other business functions.

Communicate progress, roadblocks, and solutions to key stakeholders.

Exhibit user empathy and passion for building delightful product experiences.

Manage and explore partnership opportunities with relevant industry players.

Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.

Conduct ad-hoc analyses based on business need.

Job Skills:

Hypothesis-driven, action-oriented mentality with a track record of creative, analytical problem solving.

Outstanding data analysis skills with a working knowledge of Excel and SQL.

Demonstrated experience leveraging quantitative and qualitative insights to develop, plan, and prioritize ideas.

Superior verbal and written communication and storytelling skills.

Ability to blend technical acumen with business requirements.

Strong negotiation skills, with aptitude to manage controversial situations and to influence.

Ability to thoroughly understand complex business and technical issues; plan, prioritize, and organize solutions effectively.

Ability to understand and translate complex technical concepts into understandable, digestible content for non-technical stakeholders.

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; experience in dealing with multiple, diverse internal stakeholders and interacting with external partners.

Strong execution skills; able to work under autonomy and cut through ambiguity.

Passion for solving problems in education.

Work Experience:

2+ years of software product management, management consulting, or equivalent experience is preferred.

Education:

Bachelor's degree (Required) Business, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant field (Preferred)

If offsite or hybrid role, must have access to work in setting which enables meeting all requirements of the role (including privacy, reliable internet access, phone, ability to video conference, etc.) at a remote location.

Must be able to meet critical thinking and problem solving aspects aligned to job duties, as well as effectively communicating with co-workers.
