For more information about Applied Technologies Group, please visit our website at The Position: We are looking for a candidate who will be performing the role of a SME Depot Maintenance Work Requirements (DMWRs) / Research Analyst III, supporting the Cargo Helicopter product office.

The Location: Redstone Arsenal, AL The Work Environment: On-Site/ Off-site - Hybrid upon award.

Requires the employee to work on-site at the government program office and or off-site at the approval of the Program Office.

The employee may be required to walk short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.

The Description: The candidate of SME Depot Maintenance Work Requirements (DMWRs) will serve as a key resource within the Cargo Project Office, providing specialized expertise in the development, implementation, and management of maintenance procedures and standards within the defense sector.

This position focuses on ensuring compliance with DMWRs, which define the technical specifications and procedures for maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) activities for military equipment and systems.

The DMWRs SME collaborates closely with stakeholders across various departments to interpret DMWRs, provide guidance on their application, and support maintenance operations to ensure mission readiness and operational effectiveness within the Cargo Project Office.

Candidate will apply existing knowledge in the following: Interpret and analyze DMWRs documents, technical manuals, and specifications to understand the requirements, procedures, and standards governing maintenance activities.

Provide guidance and clarification on DMWRs interpretations to maintenance personnel, engineering teams, and other stakeholders.

Develop, review, and update maintenance procedures, work instructions, and job aids based on DMWRs requirements and industry best practices.

Develop and deliver training programs to educate maintenance personnel on DMWRs requirements and procedures.

Serve as a technical resource and escalation point for complex maintenance issues, troubleshooting challenges, and interpretation of DMWRs related matters.

Conduct regular reviews and assessments to verify adherence to DMWRs requirements and identify areas for improvement or corrective action.

Manage changes to DMWRs, including revisions, updates, and modifications within the Cargo Project office.

Develop risk mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and escalation procedures to address DMWRs- related issues to minimize project disruptions.

Education & Experience: Active DoD Secret Clearance, required.

Bachelor's Degree with eight (8) years of general related experience.

ALLOWABLE SUBSITIUTIONS: High School Diploma/GED with thirteen (13) years of related experience.

Preferred qualifications: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Acquisition and/or sustainment logistics.

Foreign Military Sales case experience.

Manage and operate applicable automated databases.

Organizational and interpersonal skills.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to multi-task; prioritize internal and external tasks/projections.

Ability to work within a team environment.

Ability to comprehend engineering technical data.

Travel: On some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site.

In rare occasions, travel may be required.
