Maintenance Technician (Multi-Craft, 2nd Shift)

Job Description

What You'll Do

Preventative maintenance and repair all production-related equipment.

Manage parts inventory and ordering.

Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems and tools.

Operate for and scissor lifts (expert-level).

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Adhere to safe work practices.

Perform building maintenance throughout the facility as needed.

What You'll Need

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Must pass a drug test and submit to a background check.

Must have a High School diploma (GED).

Must be able to give and follow written and oral directions.

Must be able to accomplish set tasks and goals.

Must be willing to work some overtime and weekends.

Able to perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

Must have reliable transportation.

Must be able to life 75lbs consistently.

Ability to handle multiple projects.

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to function as a team member in a demanding service environment.

Experience/Qualifications

At least three years of relevant experience or training.

Five years of maintenance facility experience (preferred).

Knowledge of basic construction, plumbing, carpentry & electrical.

Knowledge of general mechanical and electrical principals.

Licensed Forklift Operator (preferred).

Experience working with hand and power tools (preferred).

Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, schematics, specifications, codes and handbooks.

Ability to use various testing devices -related to the mechanical trades.

Some knowledge of computers.
