Yard Maintenance Technician

Package Pavement Company, Inc., a manufacturer and licensee of QUIKRETE® products in Stormville, NY is seeking a Yard Maintenance Technician for our transportation department. We are looking for a handy man that can maintain and keep up with the ever-changing needs of our industrial facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete all monthly inspections on time, including;

Main office generator: check fluids, start-up and notate hours from meter on work order.

Main office water/air: change water filters, air filters, check water softener and add salt as needed. Change upper and lower offices air handler filters.

Service main office boiler.

Transportation fuel tank: inspect condition of fuel tank, gauge and vent, inspect containment for product, drain water off containment and inspect product lines.

Complete bulk storage monthly inspection form.

Change all A/C filters in main office, plant, and white house.

Rental properties: service boilers, general maintenance as needed

Ensure all work orders are turned in to Plant Clerk once finalized

General maintenance as needed (example: repair plumbing, ducting, heating systems, painting, signage)

Fill in for PPCO Parts Runner as needed

Other duties as assigned.

Experience Required:

None

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities

Ability to work with hands

Vocational, high school, or technical school courses in repair or other related fields

CDL beneficial, but not required
