Description

Murphy's Naturals is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. The Inventory Control Specialist will play a critical role in managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring efficient flow of materials in our manufacturing facility.

Responsiblities

Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software/systems.

Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy.

Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to ensure timely replenishment of materials and components.

Analyze inventory levels and usage patterns to optimize inventory stocking levels and minimize carrying costs.

Identify and resolve discrepancies between inventory records and physical inventory counts.

Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage, loss, and damages.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline inventory management processes and improve operational efficiency.

Generate reports and provide analysis on inventory performance, trends, and variances.

Assist in the implementation of inventory management best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate Should Have

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Proven experience (2+ years) in inventory control or materials management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of inventory management principles, techniques, and best practices.

Proficiency in using inventory management software/systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills.
